Explanation of error Stereotype applied within uml:Model

Stereotypes must be applied outside the model. Typically this is achieved by the file containing a xmi:xmi object that contains both the uml:Model and the stereotype applications.

This error is identified while the XMI is being read. The stereotype is applied despite despite being in the wrong place in the file.
